Overview
The Explosives course teaches members how to identify, defuse and deploy various explosive devices in-game. Correctly identifying hostile devices (such as IEDs and conventional mines), as well as safe set-up of friendly explosives (including mines, IEDs or explosive charges), minimises the risks around accidental and premature detonations.
Curriculum
A member certified on the Explosives course will be able to:
- Identify the various types of explosive devices used in Black Watch Operations.
- Understand the benefits and disadvantages of different trigger methods.
- Deploy and defuse explosive devices in-game.
